Catherine Henry Partners is extremely fortunate to have on staff clinical consultant Judy Manning who brings to her role at the firm almost thirty years nursing experience. Her role within the health law team ensures that our advice to clients is imbued with excellent understanding and a strong practical perspective.
Judy trained early in her nursing career as a Midwife, then trained in Accident and Emergency where she spent the majority of her career. Following an interstate move Judy worked in a specialised Oncology and Haematology Clinic before a career change to Gastroenterology, working in Endoscopy Units. She has worked both in public and private hospitals and in city and country positions. In recognition of her seniority and highly developed communication skills, she has occupied the role of Nursing Unit Manager and Director of Nursing at various times.
In her nursing career, Judy has demonstrated her excellent interpersonal skills in her relationships with other health professionals, patients and relatives and has proven ability to liaise effectively and work cooperatively with doctors and consultants.
Outside her consultancy work with Catherine Henry Partners, Judy might often be found indulging in some of her many interests such as cycle touring, bushwalking, kayaking, ornithology and spending time with her beloved grand-children.
