SOLICITOR B LEG S.
Roslyn graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Legal Studies in 1993 and during the course of her undergraduate degree received prizes for academic excellence.
After graduating, Roslyn worked for a number of years in a research capacity for a prominent Newcastle Barrister and after gaining experience with a number of Newcastle firms, has in more recent times chosen to specialise in the field of wills, estate administration and elder law. Her most recent position was at another Newcastle firm where she worked exclusively in the area of contested estate litigation. She has also represented clients from interstate as well as the United States of America and the United Kingdom. Roslyn has demonstrated her commitment to the further development of a specialist practice by embarking on a Master of Applied Law (Wills & Estates).
At Catherine Henry Partners, Roslyn is responsible for the development and management of the elder law unit within the relationship law practice. This work incorporates the full range of estate planning services including will drafting, powers of attorney, enduring guardians, advanced care directives, contested estate claims, administration of estates and retirement living contracts. Roslyn also conducts health care matters involving aged care facility residents. Her calm and empathetic nature and highly organised approach to her work makes her ideally suited to the challenges involved in an elder law practice.
